I had a dream that I popped a pimple and potato salad came out!
Top that for FUCKED up dreams! It took me aobut 5 years to be able to eat potato salad again and do you know what that means for someone from the MS delta???

But the weirdest one I have had by far was the one where
my brother (the one who died in a car wreck at age 24) is standing on the front steps of this haunted looking house and we are talking to one another. It is night time and real dark outside. There is a white picket fence separating us. And to the side of us there is a small graveyard. Then his soul jumps into my body (like on the movie Ghost) and I become him for a brief moment! It was very strange.

Your weird dreams please! Surely, I am not THAT crazy!

4. How do you think I felt! I used to love the stuff!
Edited on Fri Apr-27-07 12:39 AM by Shell Beau
So, I made it a point to tell all of my friends so that they can feel the way I now do about potato salad!

6. So was I - time for a new plan
Before I finalize my weekend menu, perhaps Shell will let us know if she's going to say anything to ruin krab salad, too.

At least I'm not alone. I think I will keep my menu ideas to myself, just in case.

9. I tend not to remember my dreams for long
The only one that I can consistently remember, which I've had since childhood, is more of a sensation than a visual. The way I describe it is that it's the feeling of a musical note being pulled down and squashed in a whirlpool of play-doh. Freaks me out every time...

15. I only remember really crazy ones. And for some reason, I have
really crazy dreams. Last night I dreamed I was pregnant with Chinese twins! Why? No clue. My husband and I are both white and as far as I know have no Asian blood in us!

17. I STILL dream about my ex-lover..we were together for 15 years
Every time I dream about him, he is being abusive to me,like he used to in real life. Just last night I dreamed that we were downtown eating lunch and he took off in his car instead of giving me a ride home. Later, he came into the house I was staying in, just walked in and the owner of the house put a gun to his face. He started crying. (although he was abusive, he still cried a lot)

Another time I dreamed that he came up to me and shot me in the head. I could hear the shot and feel the pain!

Yeah, I think it's a good thing that we're not together anymore. We have been apart for four years now. It wasn't totally his fault, I blame myself too. I could have been a little nicer and not pushed his buttons so much.

18. I think anyone who is in a relationship shares the blame, BUT
you should NEVER EVER share the blame because he could become violent. That is a total different deal in my book. Relationships are a duo, BUT again, you were not to blame if he became violent and I don't care what buttons you pushed. I hope he got help for his next girlfriend's sake.

He has a new boyfriend, I have no idea how it's working out since they moved out of state a couple of years after they got together. Hopefully good. :-)

21. I have screaming nightmares far too often.
Along with the occasional dream about fighting. I'd prefer not to share details, y'know?

Lemme just say that I once woke up with my teeth sunk into my pillow, and I've sleep-punched the wall here in my dorm room a few times.

22. Some people do act out their dreams so to speak.
I once woke up in the tub after dreaming of taking a bath. The water was running too! It was so freaky. I don't sleep walk anymore (at least that I know about).

My husband once dreamed he was strangling a guy who I was cheating with in his dream. My mom did mentioned that about the acting out dreams. Thank God he doesn't!

28. I actually had a similar dream once (Warning, somewhat graphic)
It happened about 10 years ago and I still remember it.

I was in the shower, and I somehow punctured my *ahemscrotumahem*, and a substance which looked like orange marmalade came pouring out. I woke up soon after, and naturally, checked to make sure everything was all right down there :).
