I just saw Big Fish...ask me anything
Decent movie.. It was very un-Tim Burtonesque. The plot was interesting, but a little less filling. I think I wanted to see a non-animated verson of Nightmare Before Christmas.

I'd watch it if it came on tv, but I wouldn't rent it to see it again.

1. should I spend money now to see it or just wait for the rental?
OR wait for it to show up on HBO?

2. rental..go see it if you're extremely bored
it's a good movie, and cute and the stories are funny, but it's not all-that. if you're bored, go check it out, but you can wait for the rental and not feel to left out.

4. exactly...
it's sorta worth seeing (mainly for Albert Finney's performance) but I was disappointed in it. It was a little too hokey for my tastes.

7. I got to see a special screening a while ago
so it was pretty much just me and a few of my friends (messed up at the time) and at the end we were all pretty misty. Afterwards we all had to go to the closest bar, drink beer and watch football.

5. I though Oscar had caught a big fish
Missing briefcase and inheritance of a strange animal are probably more interesting.

8. I liked it
I'm not a big fan of Tim Burton's, but I did like the movie. I thought the performances were pretty good.

9. A friend of mine was an extra
He went every time he got a chance for the whole time they were shooting, and he's in several different scenes.
