What if I were Romeo in black jeans? What if I was Heathcliff...
It's no myth.

I'm burning some of my older CDs to MP3s.

Michael Penn (Sean's brother) should've been HUGE! Definitely more talented than being relegated to a one-hit wonder.

Just thinkin' out loud.

1. We used to cool down after mountain biking listening to MP
We thought "bedlam boys" was our own personal anthem.

Did you know that is Michael Penn as the timid sound engineer in "Boogie Nights?" He always scores Paul Thomas Anderson's movies. Poor bastard.

3. Yes, I knew that...
There's even a veilled reference to it, in something John C. Reilly says while all coked-up and screaming for him to turn over the demo tapes.

Oh, great, now I've got Dirk Diggler singing "You've got the powah!" stuck in my head. It won't come out for weeks.

2. IMO Michael Penn and Amy Mann
have enough talent to be the Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward of music.

7. My band used to cover that tune
It's still one of my favorite albums. IIRC, they reissued it a couple years back with some extra tracks. It may be worth seeking out.

Michael Penn is fantastic, but you know how the music industry works.

8. That is SO strange...
I heard this song on the way to work today and was pondering these very lyrics... what does it all mean?
