6. Black, like my soul
It's almost always black, at least since college. Kind of like Garanimals for adults, I can reach into my dresser and pick out anything since everything goes with black.

Plus it's slimming and I've put on a few pounds in the last six months that I'm none too happy about! :-(

I beat you to it! But get everyone to go to Tumans instead, it's owned by the same guy as Mac's now and it's even clean.

14. Terry, from the band, has been trying to get me to go to Tumans.
He spins up there, on Friday's I think.

I know the guy who own's Mac's, Tommy McGee. In fact, many years ago, before Cate & I got married, we shared a flat with one of McGee's best friends and his SO. The first and only time I lived in a 2 couple arrangement.

I saw McGee about a month ago for the first time in 20 years. He didn't recognize me.

16. Well, I guess he owns Tuman's as well
There was a little write-up about the rehab in the Reader last week. It's so close to us, that I had already noticed that it was re-opened and clean just from driving by.

When I used to work at Red Light, my chef used to hang at J.T.s practically every night (we restaurant folk love the 4 o'clocks). He took me there on my birthday last year and I don't think we paid for a single drink. The owner seems like a really nice guy.

And, to tie this all to the thread so that we're not accused of hijacking, most of the people at Mac's and Tumans wear BLACK!!!

9. You just got back from San Diego......
Perhaps you can tell us????

Was Black's Beach on your itinerary while you were there? Is Black's Beach even there anymore? And if it is, is it still clothing optional???

I need to know, dammit!!!

13. You never told me about that!
So I didn't think to go. It was in the 60-degree range, so a little cold for no clothes, but I did wear shorts.

:hi:

15. I did a little searching, and though it's prohibited......
Nudists still frequent Black's Beach.

I spent a whole afternoon laying on my stomach there once. Man, did I get a sunburn.

12. My "Bates Motel" shirt
Its dark blue; "BATES MOTEL" across the top, a drawing of a man and woman in a car, "We promise... you'll never forget you're stay!" below the drawing. Its new too, only a week old, and I bought it for seven bucks! Yay for cheap funny shirts!
