A couple months ago, I wrote something about being their worst nightmare because I'm a cute, perky, church-going suburban mom who could lead their wives to the "dark side". My church was insulted (guess what freeper folks, I'm a Methodist, just like your beloved leader, although I actually grasp the teachings of Christ), but mostly little silly personal attacks. One of the most interesting I found was in regard to their worst nightmare was in fact 9/11. The irony is I personally knew 3 people who died in 9/11 and my father used to work in the WTC. Where was W? Let's see- ignoring intelligence, figuring out how to blame Iraq, and making sure members of the Bin Laden family could safely leave the country, that's where. They don't understand humor and apparently if what I said got a few freepers riled up, then perhaps people like me are threatening. I'm a thinking progressive woman, who is also a mother and feminine when they like to paint people with stereotypes (i.e. we're all granola eating, man-hating witches who want to subvert the American family) and disdain. Life is so much easier when you see it in black and white absolutes like a small child. That's how they think and they've allowed themselves to be fooled by people in positions of power who do not have their best interests at heart.

Okay, so out of ALL those things on that laundry list, he finds fault with one item, the part about Mikey Powell using the FCC as his own censoring commission (Remember the Dixie Chicks? Remember those Clear Channel "Support the Troops" rallies?). Apparently he finds the fact that I can post my rant on a website to be seen by at most 38000 people, if I'm incredibly lucky, evidence that the corporate media is not pursuing any kind of censorship. Umm, so what about the rest of the list? All of the other stuff was agreeable?

These people aren't just evil, they're WEIRD.

There were some other posts from FR about posts of mine...one of them even commented after quoting me, "All his posts are like this." Jaysus. I can't believe how high my blood pressure is right now! I hope all those RWers don't mind when we spread their bile all over the internet, cuz I plan on doing just that.

Also, there were some seemingly randomly selected posts from an Archived DU in my Google search for some reason: One about Ayn Rand sucking which came up four times, one about L. Frank Baum NOT sucking which came up twice, and a few others. Why? Were ther a lot of non-DUers checking out my threads?
