Should the DCForum people (Elad?) sell software to the Freepers?
Edited on Sun Aug-03-03 01:17 AM by syrinx9999
So that it would be easier to follow the enemy's message board?

I mean, the Freepers' software is a complete mess.

11. DU is always saying "Look at what the freepers are doing!!!"
Sometimes I look. But their UI is not very user-friendly. It's hard to casually follow the thread.

3. Do like what the CIA did with the PROMIS software

they sold to the foreign intelligence agencies. Put in some back doors so we could sneak in unawares and cause some mayhem. (Just kidding).

4. As long as it constantly inserts the message
"This readable software system provided by democrats, who, because they value education, write better software and also came up with the Internet itself, especial thank to Al Gore for funding DARPA so well, and to Clinton for helping to open it up so that we, the free republic freepers, can use this democrat-created software and democrat-created internet to insult and blaspheme our intellectual and constitution-understanding and compassionate superiors, in the name of our false understanding of how America is equal to Christianity."

Or something like that.

That would be hilarious!

8. Aye, that it is.
So I like my sentences long, as they were, say, pre-1940 mostly.

Cheers!

Still, you should be able to understand it.

9. DU didn't write DCForum
they paid for a license, then Elad or the proverbial million monkeys configured it.

I'd change my username to killjoy but DCForum would sooner count active users.

12. web forums
There's freeware/opensource web forum software that is superior to what FR is presently using. I think one is called "simpleforum". I don't know why they don't improve their crappy boards. Maybe the freebies can't handle huge amounts of traffic.

16. DCScripts sells their software to many people
DU is a customer, and FR could buy their software if they wanted to.

What you currently see running DU is a highly customized version of the software, though. We've made innumerable changes to the code and the setup.
