I feel so sad, Ive been thinking of my late aunt tonight

I did some research on her for some reason and I found that the rumors about her doing ancestral research about slovakia are true.

I think of both of these always being poltical and all, and the book inspires me alot, so I tend to think of her.
Aunt Annie please rest in peace, you are in a better place now with your family who has passed away. You werent only my aunt but you were one of my favorites and you were my godmother. God has a special place for you.

She died when my baby brother was only two months old, she only saw 5 months of Shrub, I feel so sad because she was the baby of the family, and two of her sisters remain. 2001 come to think even without 9/11 would had been a sad year for me.

Your grandparents would have wanted that. I love that you are this heartened by what you think is possible from this site or any other political gamble but you are sooooooooooooooo young! I have lost my aunt, who was my godmother, as well. She was my dad's older and only sister and she was like a second mother to me, when I was very small. She did not know *, as she died of lung cancer in 1995. My aunt did not do research, as yours did, but I tend to identify, as I'm the one who does this, in my family. You have good reason to be proud of your aunt and the information that she gave you, about your family, is invaluable. You have my sympathy, but also my encouragement. If you are interested, you could continue researching your family. There may very well be others in your family who are interested in this. There are in my family, and you know we have similar backgrounds. You can get together and keep your aunt's interests alive.:-)

8. well she died in the early days of Shrub

9. Perhaps you could undertake this project yourself

with the help of others in your family who are also interested. I have done research into my family history and have a couple of relatives who are also interested and have shared information with me. They are more experienced at this than I am. The thing is, it can be a lifelong project, researched when you have the time. There are no deadlines for something like this.:-)

5. Death sucks...

but it is reality. You are fortunate to have known the people you have known. They helped to make you the person you are today. This is a good thing.

I often think back to those that I have known that have passed on, and try to understand how and why they affected me, and helped me grow into the person I am today. The list is long; I have had a rich life as far as people go. Although I can be a complete asshole, my 'people skills' are well honed.

Most of the people I grew up with are gone. Disease, accidents, drug OD's and just plain bad luck took them. At times, I feel like I was left, so that there would be someone to pick up the cause, to continue the good fight; to keep the dreams unmet, alive.

If your aunt has had a positive impact in your life, you are blessed. Keep the memories alive, and remember that loss is often gain; for now, the memory of her is cemented in place and will not be dislodged. The warmth of remembrance is welcome on dark cold nights.

You know she was a great lady, she was a third grade teacher, and the whole family is mostly democrat, so they helped me politically, and I still own a Gore-Lieberman sign. The book Flags of Our Fathers, I think about a lot because I think of the pitys of war which is, some never make it home, and Sgt Michael Strank never did, he was one of the flagraisers as you know and a relative of mine who died.
