Well, we did it again ...... NEW CATS

We got two new cats from the pound today. Makes a total of 5!!! The new little girls are Mimi and Charo. Mimi is the Tux cat and Charo is the calico.

Our original two boys are thinking of killing us in the middle of the night, our other girl that we got a few months ago likes that the tide has turned in the house.

She's all over this cat toy. I hear this samba music when she runs around. Mimi is a bit more scraed.

They were in separate cages at the pound. But the minute we put them together, they bonded. Charo is going to live up to her name I can tell.

Oh my god. Going to the pound is just a heart breaking thing. I wish I had a big ass house and could take them all home.

But the nice thing was that there were many people looking at the cats and dogs. Those people that work there ..... :loveya: What a group of great people.

24. It's gonna be fun!

With the boys it was easy. We has just lost Mickey and they were the only cats in the house. When we got Geena the boys were NOT happy campers.

Now that we have the girls ......... who knows? All I know is that the SO is sleeping the guest room tonight with the two girls. At least I won't have to hear his ass snoring!

33. Day two ...

They are both sleeping a lot. Michael slept in the guest room with them last night and he said that Charo (the calico) was just sweet as can be. Mimi is sneezing a lot. We took them to the vet yesterday when we got them home. The pound told us she has a cold. Our vet says it's nothing to be worried about. They are both scared a bit, which is to be expected. Charo is on the bed right now. Mimi is laying under the dresser. I couldn't find them yesterday and remember when we Ricco and Cosmo were kittens, they hid under the same dresser. I pulled out the bottom drawer and there they were, along with about 10 little cat toys. I guess Geena stored them in there when she first came her.

So far so good. We have several weeks before we can introduce them to the other cats. We can get them fixed until the end of the month, so we want to wait until they are recovered from surgery.

And yes .... THIS is the limit! No more cats.

Anyone know of a good place to pick up a couple of iguanas?

35. Too cute! Mine were about that size when I got them this time last year.

And now they are big but still act like loopy kittens some times...picture 12 pound nutcases! I wish if they were going to keep acting like kooky kittens they could have stayed that size. Oh well, they are pretty, but your photos bring back memeories of my fuzzy little strays...:)
