Thank you to all of you!

My father passed away on Monday the 11th. He was afflicted with Hemocromatosis (excessive iron in bloodstream) for the past 15 years and it finally took its toll on his kidneys and liver. I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and sentiments during this difficult time. In particular, I would like to single out JanMichael and Thtwudbeme for their support. It meant a lot to me to know that I could take the time off from work and that you'd cover me with no problems. It also meant a lot to me to see you in the audience at the funeral service. Thank you again. As a final thought, I know that my father would want to say, "DEFEAT DUMBYA AND GET THIS COUNTRY BACK ON ITS FEET"!

I was just thinking about you the other day — really. I'm sorry for your loss. I remember how truly devastated I was when my mother died. It took me a long time to be able to think about her without the pain and sadness overwhelming the happy memories.

You are fortunate to have such good friends to help you navigate this difficult time.

Late-onset diabetes. A death so icky I wouldn't even wish it on bush.
