I never heard of this guy. Is this true?

If so why wasn't it in the history books in my grade school?

1. Nevermind. I'm going to bed.
I've been lied to too much. At the end of the day I have Alvin Lee at Woodstock. Going Home. Because that's what matters. Going Home.

2. I've heard of Newton before. I posted this thread about him a couple of months ago

It will change the way you think about Amazing Grace. Apparently, Lincoln and Harriet Beecher Stowe gave Wilberforce credit for his accomplishments but I never heard of him before either.

3. The Hallelujah at the end.
At the end of the day we always sing it. Even if it's just a "Lord please help me remember" something. Thank You irkthesmirk. Beautiful.

4. "We are all connected by God's Amazing Grace"
however you define her/him/it. I have trouble swallowing every time I listen to this powerful story and presentation.

5. Seems that this guy is for real.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Wilberforce

can't say i agree with his 'anti-union' views, but his long and hard fight against slavery was truly heroic. it's good that he lived long enough to hear that the slave trade was about to be abolished at last.
