Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was fantastic!
Saw it yesterday. It was great. My favorite of the three. There's a fourth they've already shot, and we're looking forward to that as well. Now someone tells me there was something after the credits, but we didn't stay. Everyone was so in a hurry to leave. Dammit. We'll just have to see it again.
The only beef I had with the movie was the fight scene between the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman that I thought was never going to end. Five minutes less was all I needed. It was exhausting.
What was your take?!
Duckie

3. What the Hell was That All About?
Very convoluted plot. I also left wondering, "Why does everyone fuss so much over actors when all the heavy lifting in Hollywood is being done by production design, costuming and 100,000 people sitting in front of computers?" I will make an exception for Johnny Depp, of course. Keira Knightly was a cipher.

5. sorry to break the news to you
but there is no fourth one. they shot the second and much of the third at the same time. no way will another be made with the same actors, at least.

8. They left the door open though
Down the line they may decide to go for it.

Guess we'll find out way later.

9. It was just OK, imo. Definitely my least fave of the 3.
if you hadn't seen the other two it would've been completely incoherent to follow the plot...which was convuluted enough.

Depp is always fun, though and I enjoyed seeing Keith Richards all gussied up in his pirate gear.

All in all, light and fluffy fun summer fare. :hi: Glad you liked it.
