What would you take for appraisal to "The Antiques Roadshow"?

What antique or collectible do you own that you think could be worth a bundle of money?

For me, it would be the clock that my great-grandfather made.

Admittedly a bit dried out but I've only used it three times on special occasions.

civil war sword. Not that I'd sell it, I'd just like to know more about it.

3. ooooooo..... that is very cool. I saw one on there one time

worth a bundle! I can't remember the exact amount but the owner almost fainted. It was a very fancy signed ceremonial sword from the Civel War.

8. Two sets of items

1. a sterling vanity set that my grandmother's aunt gave her. It has a very odd motif - an angel seemingly give mouth to mouth resuscitation to woman

2. some Native American items my great-grandfather purchased when surveying for the railroad in Colorado in the 1890's.

9. when they came to Milw

i took a teddy bear(worth about what i paid), an asian carved ivory cheroot holder(oh, i thought it was for a cigar) in it's case-learned it was mid 1700-1800 and worth a bit more than i paid. and since one in my group had less than 2 things, a little pottery piggy bank that i got at a rummage sale. too bad she took it, cause it was worth about $60-100 and she didn't remember any facts about it past $. my best find of the 3.

if they come next time. I KNOW i am taking a key i picked up at an estate sale. I now believe it is roman or definately that era.other than that, i would have to think hard.

and get there EARLY! the lines were unbelievable. because the idiots i went with said we should go when it opened. it was an 6 hour day of lines.

10. A painting by my son's

Great-Grandfather's artist sister and the strange bronze beaker she used to keep her paint brushes in. The beaker is obviously hand made and has Egyption motif designs hammered into the bronze. It is really nice and has stumped a curator of a local small, but world class museum...

A twenty piece set of Irish china (the name is escaping me right now).

But my mom has a whole bunch of Lladro's from the seventies (but they didnt by the nativity!!).

And a Hoosier Cabinet in my parents house.

My mom also has her dad's navy manual from WW 2. I have his dogtag.
