Best luggage?

So my newly-minted VP wife is travelling this weekend, and her bosses apparently upgraded her flights to first class. She's feelin' fancy, and flush: and the paper bags just won't cut it anymore. :)

Hey frequent fliers, what's the coolest luggage you've ever had (or seen and wished you had)?

1. Hartmann

You see the tweedy kind a lot, but the stuff I really covet is their industrial belting leather suitcases & bags. It's expensive, but I bet your great-grandchildren will still be using it.

...and it never shows up at rummage sales, so I'll never own any. sigh...

2. Victorinox (aka swiss army)

Groovy, sturdy, well made red luggage (I reckon you can get black as well). Very sharp, very nice, and you can find good internet deals on it with free shipping and/or no taxes (which is handy cuz it's pricey)

5. Longchamps is lovely. Classy, nice colors, feminine without being

floral and tacky. Not cheap, worth EVERY penny.

7. As an airline pilot I like PNTCO's luggage.

The the rugged PNTCO roll-a-board is tough ballistic fabric on a steel frame. PNTCO has been supplying pilots and flight attendants since 1989 and the general public since 2000.

My wife uses TUMI luggage. Both TUMI and PNTCO have excellent service departments.
