www.gamespot.com (reviews/previews)
www.lionhead.com (Black & White)
www.squaresoft.com (the Final Fantasy series, among others)
www.eidos.com (Tomb Raider)
www.bioware.com (Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights)
www.simcity.com (Simcity!)
www.bethesda.com (Morrowind)

There are hundreds more.

on edit: For some seriously impressive video artwork, take a look at the upcoming Fable from (I think) Big Blue Box, a spinoff studio from Peter Molyneaux's Lionhead Studios. Also worthy of note are Half-Life 2 and Doom III, being released later this year.

4. not bad
they have the distinct advantage of not having to design for old codgers that can barely find a standard sized submit button, let alone navigate a directory tree.

here's some design shop sites I dig

www.pixelranger.com
www.2advanced.com
