On one hand, this is probably my favorite sci-fi horror novel ever (it had a major influence on the zombie sub-genre of horror films). On the otherhand, Will Smith is the lead. He's not that bad an actor, but looking back at I, Robot... I just don't know.

"Ringworld" is coming as well along with "Moon is a Harsh Mistress."

And they will screw those up as well.

Then they will do the The Forever War and The Undemolished Man. And those will suck as well.

3. "Ringworld" and "Harsh Mistress" are being made into movies?!?
Hmmmm... Probably will screw up "Harsh Mistress". Ringworld, well, that book was made for CGI.

5. Not yet but they will
Mistress has been tossed around Hollywood for a long time.

Ringworld has been waiting for the film making tech to catch up.

I think Mistress is the more interesting of the two but they will still screw it up.

And millions will see the films and strut around thinking that they read the novel.

Probably my biggest pet peeve of all.

6. WTF?
I can accept Smith as Manny in Mistress. After all, well if you read to the end....

But who is he in Ringworld? Louis Wu? Speaker to Animals? The freaking Puppeteer? Teela?

This is going to be even worse than I thought.
