3. I love kittens
All of mine are grown ups now and just lay around and occupy space. I miss the playful kitten stuff. I could roll a toy by any one of them them and they would just look annoyed. Sigh.

4. No! We mustn't talk about kittens in glowing terms!
I keep having this feeling that I need to have a kitten, but my 4 other kits would protest, and my friend and landlord wouldn't appreciate another one in my apartment.

But they're so cute!! And I want one so bad!!

But I can't have one. Waaaahhhh!

7. It was a 15-hop grounder to second
Look at the position of his feet and arms. He was obviously fooled on a change or slow curve and was way out in front.

Extra BP tomorrow, cat.

:P

10. Hardly unusual
I quote from "Ball Four," wherein Jim Bouton argued with Seattle Pilots teammate Tommy Davis over a hit Davis got off him in the '63 World Series:

"Hard smash, my left clavicle! It was a goddam ground ball that bounced 22 times and took a bad hop off a pebble!"

:D

Oh — Davis brought it up with a great zinger: "I forget who was pitching for them. Somebody named Button or Bontown or something."
