If Troy Aikman has no intention of un-retiring, can't see Jim Kelly wanting to get back on the field and get hit again. He's around 43, so even though that's "younger" than it used to be, it's still a bit of a stretch, even for a guy like him who's kept himself in good shape.
No, what the Eagles needd to do is get Donovan McNabb some really good, savvy receivers to get open for him. ESPN did a good job in showing how many of his perfectly-laid-in-there passes were just plain DROPPED yesterday, including one to usually-sure-handed Deuce Staley.
I look at it this way: in the playoffs, the four best QBs in the game; Steve McNair; Peyton Manning; Brett Favre and Donovan McNabb were eliminated, and the Super Bowl will be a matchup of two of the game's most UNDERRATED QBs: Tom Brady and Jake Delhomme.
Donovan McNabb can get the Eagles to a Super Bowl; he just needs a more sure-handed supporting cast to help him do it. And that's who the Eagles need to go after in both trades and, especially, in the draft.
GO PANTHERS!!! :bounce:
