- Ronnie Yu would like to direct a BLOOD, THE LAST VAMPIRE live action film.

- The CAPTAIN HARLOCK live action movie (directed by Olivier Dahan -> Crimson rivers 2) is on hold, just like the AKIRA live action (Stephen Norrington is no longer attached to the project).

- No more news about the DRAGON BALL Z live action by the 20th Century Fox.

1. A Dragonball Z live action?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the average episode of that show go through a great deal of "cleaning up" before it's shown to American kids? Maybe if some Fox executives watched a few eps in the original Japanese, they'd think twice about this one...

2. NGE is a good live action candidate

But damn, it's going to be expensive to film. I'm thinking of the scene with the 'diamond' angel and the big gun powered by all of Japan. Seeing NERV IRL would be a trip.

I'd also like to see Cowboy Bebop and FLCL live action, although I think FLCL would be impossible to make.
