That's what a guy I know in the airforce(stationed in afghanistan) just told me concerning Bush trip to Iraq and his photo op with a turkey..

Man how can he be so stupid? I don't have any relatives or friends in the military or anything like that, but is this the average attitude of ppl in the military?


like don't mind he sent you guys there to die for nothing, a 2 hour photo op makes him the best guy ever?

edit: Oh yeah he also said the former administration would have NEVER visited the troops like that. And that Hillarys visit to afghanistan was "ok"

I wonder if he'd say that Hillary Clinton also earned those votes, by visiting the troops in the field (BEFORE Bush did, I may add...)

seems many are under the impression that Bush went there with bullets zipping over his head, and lose sight of the fact that he visited the most heavily-protected area in the entire country.

that said, there are still going to be plenty that will not only vote for him in spite of these deaths, but will support him more and more as the death toll rises (my dad comes to mind)

I used that fact to market into the military in the past - one bought Generals and Admirals to push product - and one got sales.

said that the Reservists have signs posted all over their vehicles that proclaim: "One weekend a month, my ass." Yep, there is a lot of Bu$h love over there. :eyes:
