Mead tasting -- a wedding planning task I love! |

We;'re having a traditional Mead toast at the reception, and I'm collecting several samples from local, small meaderies so we can choose one. We don't want a really dry one or a really sweet one. A friend will be setting up a blind taste test so we can decide. It may take me many glasses to finally decide.
YUMMO!

High potential for a mead hangover in your future. :hi:
The best mead that I've ever had was the tej served at an Ethiopian restaurant in DC. Most tej is unfiltered and rather rustic but this stuff was clear and smooth like a fine white wine.

Although I have had some rustic stuff that packs a punch.
