Hello. I wanted to thank everyone who helped me with the below matter earlier this week:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x6606057I wrote a pointed, mostly professional message a couple of days ago telling him what I was planning on doing, when I would have that work done, and what I expected from him. I also emphasized that we had each other's contact information if we needed to speak to each other.
He wrote back late that night and said he'd call me the next day. He never called. :eyes: I sort of figured he wouldn't, although frankly I was rather upset with him and didn't want to speak with him, anyway.
I think this is a terrible loss, but more so for him. We will still work together, but he is going to have to learn how to follow me on this project instead of my tracking him down all the time. It feels disrespectful, because he is a tenured professor with many publications under his belt. However he has been disrespectful to me, and the amount of effort I have already put into the project, by not responding to my emails and by not following through on setting up meetings.
Again, thanks for the encouragement to take the torch from him and run on. :hi:
