Which one is a good one to purchase?

1. Depends on what you want to do
We use Garmin 76 Map GPS at work. You can buy nautical charts or topo maps to put on it.

2. GOPisEvil got me a Garmin Streepilot i5 and it's been great!

Well, it does sometimes tell me to turn into a field, or take me bizarre ways ... but I think that's a common phenomena amongst all GPSs. I love it - maps already preloaded, and relatively inexpensive.

VERY well reviewed.

Seriously, I did a lot of research in the price range I was looking at, and the Garmin was the best of the bunch. Garmins in general rate fairly high with users.
