I was a real asshole today!

I was on one of our lovely freeways and I needed to get onto another freeway and so I got on the ramp. It was one of those two lane ramps, and the right hand lane was going to end soon so I signaled my turn and started to make my move. Lo and behold the car in the other lane decided to speed up so I could not get ahead of it. I forced the issue. Not only did I force the issue, I let three other cars in ahead of me out of spite for the person almost not allowing me to merge.

2. stuff like that drives me crazy.

People need to leave their chips on the shoulder at home. Once I was on the blue ridge parkway and went to pass these people, because they were meandering which people on the parkway are wont to do. Well, they speeded up, and along comes a car in my lane (I was passing on a two lane road), so I swerved back into their lane, giving them three choices, either hit the brakes and let me in, run off the road, or have me run them off the road by ramming into their car. Well, they hit the brakes and then they threw a fit and flipped me off, and followed me down to the Pisgah lodge...when they saw I was gonna turn, they hit their brakes and slammed their car into the cement curb because they cut the turn too sharp. I kept on going but it's very likely they blew both front tires since they hit it so hard.

Which would have been better than the 40 seconds he tried to gain by cutting me off.

and there was enough room for me to merge before the jerk rapidly pulled up. I was not in a hurry, and I am sure at least three people appreciated my thoughfulness.

Had this "You're not gettin' ahead of me, fuckwad" attitude. I finally got tired of the way it made me feel, with my blood pressure and adrenalin and stuff on 11 all the time. Now I'm like, "Dude, if it's that important to your tiny little penis, take it."

Roads with two-into-one lanes, though, are an invitation to road rage. I can't imagine why we have 'em.
