I take back every bad thing I said about Angelina Jolie.
Saw her on TDS. She's a wonderful actress, a person of principle and charity, and a beautiful woman. Best of all, I actually think she's for real... not a phony bone in her body.:applause:

9. I saw a picture of her when she was about 12
Edited on Fri Jun-15-07 01:33 AM by idgiehkt
and she had freakish, Mick Jagger looking lips. Not saying she isn't hitting the collagen since she's aged a bit, but they really have always been big.

edit: here is a link that has a before and after picture that says she's had collagen in the upper lip and, believe it or not, a nose job:

I think it's interesting what they are saying about cheek implants, I think they are way more common among actors than people realize. I am watching a show now where they are in reruns from a few years ago vs. just having been current and I swear two of the female leads have gotten cheek implants since the show started.

17. That site is sometimes off the mark, and I think they are in this instance
Same nose to me, and I doubt the cheek implants: her father and brother have cheekbones very much like hers. She's pretty young in the "before" photos, and her looks hadn't fully matured.

21. Here's her parents
Big lips run in that fambly.

I'm not sure I believe the cheek implant thing, one picture of her from when she was what, 12-14 years old, the other from now. I certainly look a LOT different than I did when I was 14. The nose looks more refined, but, in a head on shot, you can tell it's the same.

dude, seriously, you doubt the judgement of someone named Billy Bob?

she is the undoing of modern society. And Giada de Laurentiis is way hotter and she can cook some serious italian food.

10. I just saw her on Larry King and I think she's an incredible woman
I think a lot of people hold her past against her. She was in her 20's when she did her wacko stuff. She's matured into a socially conscious woman. Adopting proverty stricken kids, bringing major awareness to the devastation in other parts of the planet, joining Brad in their efforts to do whatever they can in New Orleans, giving 1/3 of her money to charity, being a constant advocate for those who don't have a voice....in my book, she's a saint and I don't care what she did in the past - just look at what she's doing now. Wow.

And she's doing more for the world than the lot of us combined.

25. I didn't say what she was doing wasn't altruistic....
I just was really concerned that she has adopted this new thin crap that could, in deed, affect how young woman perceive themselves...

And, if it wans't for her beauty, she wouldn't have the stage she has...

So if I think she is setting a bad example as appearing borderline anorexic, I will point that out...

19. I agree -- I think she's far more sincere than Princess Diana was in most things
I give Diana props for her AIDS and land mines work, but she didn't change her lifestyle and living standards to reflect her charity work -- it stayed charity.

I'm not snarking at you, but I think it's interesting you think Jolie is entitles but Lady Diana Spencer/Diana, Princess of Wales wasn't.

15. Agreed
She and Ashley Judd both give alot of time and money to great causes. And, more than that, live their lives in waya that goes along with what they say.

20. Her and Sandra Bullock....
....both beautiful and genuinely charitable. Unlike most celebrities who only help raise money and get paid to do so, they donate their own personal money like you and me. Sandra gave $2 million of her own money to the tsunami victims in '05.
