1. Coventina's predictions:
Audi will win LeMans, Hamilton will win the GP.

6. you were right on both counts
F1 is making history weekly now...it will be interesting to see how much coverage it gets in our american "sports" media (i.e., "if it didn't happen on a nascar track, it didn't happen!")...

not that i'd expect the esteemed journalists at espn to even know how many wheels an F1 car has

7. Well, like you said, not much merit to me for that!
Although when the leading Audi lost it's wheel at LM things started to look a little dicey!

I really don't understand the phenom of Nascar. It's the most boring form of motorsport out there. I could understand it MAYBE if the cars TRULY represented the fans' daily drivers....but they don't!

8. First off

Eccelstone needs to be thrown out on his ass, he's ran the sport almost into the ground. There's no passing, no competition, everything is clinical and sterile. The drivers are so afraid of penalties competing they follow each other for dozens of laps before making a move.

All the electronic crap needs to be thrown out, give them their slick tires back, throw in some turbochargers and let the guys race.
