Fuck General Motors!
Want to turn Saturn into just another division of stamped-out, randomly badged American genericars? Go for it! Go for fucking broke!

2. Sorry. Among other things they're moving away from plastic bodies so they >
can use one plant to churn out slightly different variations on a model and market them under different divisions. In particlar, the Vue will be the same as a Chevy Equinox. Saturn was supposed to be a 'different kind of car company' and was to be separate from all other GM brands in style and marketing. Now it's just going to be another chevymobile.

I've known this for a while now but what got me going off the deep end today was I've been trying to get a roof rack for my Vue for a week now and it's been an exercise in futility. It's clear the from the lack of action that the parts and service arm of Saturn has been swallowed up by GM.

JD Powers always rates Saturn extremely high in customer satisfaction so if anything the other GM divisions should have tried to emulate Saturn, not eat it. I've owned about 6 cars, all American, in my life but I hope GM is happy when I go Toyota or Honda next time.

3. Doesn't seem that new
Aren't the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky are built on the same frame and have the same drive train? I thought the only differences was in the body panels and interior.

4. I know. I am really disappointed in this too
I had a Saturn that I really liked. I especially liked the dent-resistant doors. You didn't have to worry about parking next to some asshole who would bang his door into yours. Sad. GM is destroying what could have been a really great American car company and turning it into more lousy crap.

5. I dunno....
I think Saturn's new cars are a big improvement over the old ones.
