4. that was kinda funny
and I generally like Jason Lee

(not that I'd kiss him or anything)

It probably will be 'loosely based on' much like Scooby Doo, Spiderman, Hitchhiker's guide, etc.

Fortunately, I do not remember that much about Underdog. Except one time OverCat kicked his a$$.

7. Amen to that, sister!
The whole point of underdog was his unassuming nature and nerdy voice.

Without that, you really don't have underdog.

This version seems to want to take itself much too seriously.

And while we're at it, how come he looks like Wishbone?

10. "The Critic" (1994) lampooned this sort of thing...
TV made into movies, movies made into broadway...

Now it's second nature. Like breathing.

How can they remake this stuff and keep a straight face?

12. I'm intrigued by this novel approach to film making in which they
take an old TV show and make it into a contemporary movie.

Even the end sequence with the cat burglar was from the Superman 1 trailer

18. I noticed that too
The scene was also in the movie itself.

Although it would have been extra-geeky-cool if they had used Supes' actual line: "Hi there. Something wrong with the elevator?"

:patriot:

I can't believe I'm so geeky that I can quote that line from memory
