Lazy, lazy Sunday
For once I am doing nothing. Since today is my only day off this week, I feel entirely justified in not cleaning the apartment (though it really, really needs it!). I walked outside and it is over 90 degrees; I can't even muster up enough energy to go sit by the pool.
Yesterday I was working outside all day long, during the hottest part of the day and I will do it again tomorrow. This time of year my job just wears me out. I am exhausted. So I feel for anyone that has an outdoor job, no matter what they do, in this climate. Or maybe I am getting too old for this. LOL.

1. It's to hot to do anything right now.

I think you deserve some down time! I need to clean too but it's to hot
right now. I'll wait until later, when the sun sets and it cools off some.

Enjoy your lazy day!!

4. LOL! Me too and I have a fan going!
I'm trying to do without AC but I think I'll have to install the unit
in a window tomorrow morning. It's supposed to be 10 degree's hotter
here in the AM and higher humidity. Blah! I will really be melting then!!

It would be nice to do this tomorrow or even this! !

6. I've had the a/c on full time since late April
And it will stay on until Sept at least. But every time I go outside, I just feel like I am going to melt into a puddle.

3. Take the chance to rest and relax!
Drink a lot of water and take care of yourself too!

7. The only way I can make it through the days is to drink lots of water
Gatorade is too sugary but the electrolytes help. I prefer plain water. I drink at least a gallon when I am working outdoors. In all these years doing my job I have never had heat stroke but I think I have come close once in a while.

8. That's good!
I know the heat can sneak up on you, so hydration is your best antidote and stopping if you feel dizzy or lightheaded at all and get out of the sun and practical first aid :pals:

be careful!

9. Do you take salt tablets?
My brother used to have to take them, when he worked in a paper mill.

Otherwise, people were fainting and having heat stroke, but that was years ago.

Maybe that's not medically suggested anymore?

10. I don't take them
I don't know if they are recommended or not anymore. I get buy with water since I don't really like Gatorade.
