Why do I hate them? Because I get hooked on watching a show and keep playing the episodes as fast as I can watch them, and then after I'm done, I know there are no new ones to watch!
It's so sad--my latest series is one of my favorites from the late 60s called "The Champions." It was a British series, though the lead was Stuart Damon (late as of General Hospital, though when he did the Champions he was still as gorgeous as he was when he did Cinderella) who was an American. The two British actors were William Gaunt and Alexandra Bastedo. Both Damon and Gaunt were about 31 when they did the show, and Alexandra was only 21, though she looked older (she was quite beautiful!). On one of the DVDs, they had the three of them reuniting for the first time in many years--Stuart said he had seen Bill about 30 years ago, but he hadn't seen Alexandra for much longer. The guys are now both 70 and Alexandra is 61. They look pretty good for 70 and 60something year old people, but they were so, so gorgeous back when they did the show.
Anyhow, I am getting to the end of the series of episodes, and I'm sad. I see so much potential in the concept even now, though the plots on the episodes are relatively weak, and I can't envision anyone being as suited for their roles than they were so long ago. :(
