Another one of my favorites, the Doctor is playing K-9 in chess. Romana walks by and says:
Romana: Oh, that's interesting, mate in twelve.
K-9: Correction mistress, eleven.
Romana: Oh yes, I didn't see that one.
Doctor: That's the trouble with chess. It's so predictable.

Ah, college days. What a horrible time. I never much got into either the pre-Baker or post-Baker episodes though, and I definitely got sick of the bloody Master.
