Man's porch demolished by steamroller...

East Side Man's Front Porch Streamrolled

POSTED: 10:49 am CDT June 18, 2007

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man got quite a surprise early Monday morning when an unmanned steamroller plowed into his front porch.

The steamroller was in the neighborhood to repair some tennis courts at Park Place and Newhall Street on the city's east side.

The homeowner told WISN 12 News that someone apparently started the steamroller, put it in gear and let it go.

1. Whoops
I like the way they say "The steamroller was in the neighborhood..." Makes it sound like it was just tooling around, looking for a good time.
