2. It just takes some nerve to go jump in the pool, then come in and expect...
to be able to sit under my desk while I'm working, or follow me into the kitchen where I'm making bread, and just, you know. Smell like a wet dog!

He just got up and left the room, though, so I suspect he's off to take a nap somewhere.

Smelling like wet dog.

:D

3. He's probably waiting for you to towel him dry
and play with him for a while. :)

4. Possibly. I sent Jane outside to play with him for a while, so he's probably tired now.

11. Try having a 100+ lb. long-haired dog with beard and
mustache who likes to stick his head up to his eyeballs in any water available (we keep the bathroom door securely closed) and then lay his head in your lap.

5. could be worse...
my sister's dogs will jump in the pool jump out, run around and roll in the grass, then come in and promptly jump on the couch and try to dry themselves off on the couch, leaving the smell of wet dog+ plus grass/dirt all over the place...:)

7. True. Often Frankie will run around in the sun and get somewhat dry before he comes in.
He still smells wet, though.

6. One of the benefits of having dogs that hate water
Don't have to worry about wet dog smell all the time from them jumping in the pool

10. Mine hates water
And now she's got some fungal infection that the vet says requires twice weekly washing with Selsun Blue shampoo.

The horror. The horror....
