I hate it when people use nouns as verbs the way they sometimes do with the word "dialogue". Is "trending" another example of this?

as is conservatism in general. The level of apathy among the young is apalling. The kids of the now conservative middle class have begun turning out more or less conservative (some issues like Gay rights they are surprisingly liberal on)

so that's probably a big factor. But that's also the most-unreliable voting group as far as turnout, so I wouldn't want to pin my hopes on them if I were the GOP.
