Who else here isn't a coffee fan?
EVERYONE seems to love coffee. I do not get it. It tastes like the essence of "burn" to me, like taking off the charred edges from barbecued food, liquifying that, and selling it. :puke:

11. Yes you are.
And you will always be the wrong age to have opinions. When you are a teen, they say you will grow out of it. When you are thirty, they say wait until you are forty. When you are forty, they say wisdom comes with old age. When you are 60, they say you are too old and set in your ways.

At no age will people accept your opinion if it is different than theirs. Sorry. :(

;)

In all seriousness, WIMR, I had the same experience as lionesspriyanka. I didn't like the taste of coffee until I was out of college. I drank plenty of tea.

Not a fan of hot beverages in general (except soup in the winter) and never had the desire to try coffee. I'm 47 years old and I have Diet Pepsi in the morning.

8. Yeah, the smell doesn't put me off.
Once it smelled so good I took a sip of my dad's. VERY unpleasant surprise. I was like, "How the hell does such an awful-tasting thing have such a good smell?"

10. The tastes sends me into bitter-beer-face convulsions.
It can't taste like that to other people, or they couldn't drink it. The smell gives me headaches. Even when I run across coffee flavored candy and ice cream, the taste is horribly bitter to me.

Oddly, I love bitter flavored stuff, except coffee.

16. I didn't start drinking coffee until about five years ago.
I only drink one cup or less per day, and most days I don't drink any. Some coffees are better than others, and I'm not fond of harsh ones at all.

Don't drink it unless you want to. :) I went 39 years not drinking it, and I can walk away from it now and not miss it.

18. I never liked it.
I didn't like it when I tried it as a teen and I don't like it now. I've never drank a cup of coffee in my life. I don't drink soda either. I'm un-american, lol.

I'm sitting here trying to think if there is anything I didn't like growing up that I like now...pumpkin pie seems to be the only thing I can think of. My tastes have been pretty consistent my whole life.

19. coffee to me is more like a need, i don't really drink it for it's flavor.
i stopped drinking it for awhile when i was sick and switched over to tea which i do love for the taste but it lacked the kick. I drink so much coffee that i can have some right before bed and fall asleep with no problem at all.

24. I stopped drinking it several years ago.
I switched to decaf, but now I rarely drink even that. Everytime I poured a cup of coffee, I would want something sweet to go with it. Since cutting out sugar, I don't even miss the coffee.

Stick to tea, though I might have half a cup of decaf every few months.

28. Hated coffee.
acquired a taste for it in my late 20's, than a need in my 30's, and a full blown addiction in my 40's.

So don't worry, you'll grow into it.

31. I hate coffee.
I can't stand the smell of it.

I think most people start to drink because it was a adult thing to do.

I use to live close to company that made coffee, the smell was so strong that I moved.

Nothing wrong with not liking coffee.

If you notice most people don't drink it black, they have to put something in it to make it taste better.
