3. I did, too.
My mom had them, and I found out where her stash was. Had a pretty good flavor, as I recall.

Yeah...a rather unfortuante name for a product, despite its spelling.

4. I remember my mom used to take those
I've always thought that to name a food product named "Krusteaz" was sorta ill advised

5. I remember
AYDS. :rolf:

And I also remember when AIDS came along, one of my first responses to hearing it was "AIDS," why are they naming an illness after a candy?

9. "Ayds" the diet aid came way before AIDS, the disease.
Read an interesting article on it one time. The product was quite successful until the 80's, when the AIDS scare came along. After that, the company tried altering the name a bit, but kept "ayds" in the name, changing it to something like "Diet-ayds" or something close to that. The executives of the company felt that if they completely took "ayds" out of the product name, that they'd be completely losing any benefit from a once successfull product, sighting the fact that "Kool-aid" and "Band-aid" were still successfull, so why should we have to change our name?

Ahhh, the silly information that stays in my head.

8. My mom used AYDS too
It way before AIDS.

I always thought "Impact" was a pretty bad name for a car.
