1. Sure.
Nutmeg. Mushrooms. Yard waste. Grape vine. Labrador.

You name it, you can stuff it in the bowl and smoke it.

3. Do you think Jesus would enjoy a bong hit of any of those things?

4. Jesus was a fiend.
He was a big time pusher too.

2. Yes -- you can use them for tobacco
And, may bongs aren't legally bongs -- they're water pipes. And yes, there is a difference, at least to the Virginia AG's office. The latter are legal, the former are not. I had someone explain the difference to me once, but it's just all so silly.

5. You mean "silly"
as in "Bong Hits for Jesus" is a silly, nonsensical arrangement of words designed to test the apparent lack of tolerance of heavy-handed school administrators? That kind of silly?

6. That is indeed "silly"
I meant, though, that the differences between a "bong" and a "water pipe," as explained to me why one can be sold in VA and one can't, are silly. Pot should be decriminalized. I wish it would be so I could smoke some.

8. At a college reunion a few years back -- famous Midwest party college
Edited on Mon Jun-25-07 12:35 PM by Feles Mala
will not be mentioned -- an old friend of mine wanted to buy a bong at a record store. He's spent his post-college life in a small town, teaching, far removed from the evils of a college town. He decided he needed a bong now that his kids were growing up and leaving for school. Unfortunately, as we made jokes about his 'smoking,' the clerk got quite irate and refused to sell it because members of our party had mentioned various variations of the "M" word. Apparently they can only sell these bongs for the stated purpose of smoking tobacco. Even mention of anything else, buy people not even inolved with the sale, was enough to cause my poor friend to return home bongless... (Although I think he went down the road to Terre Haute on his way home...)
