I didn't actually even watch it. I had a previous commitment (a meeting with some other faculty about blah blah blah I won't go into) but just coming back home and checking in here to read over some reactions and just thinking about it.. it's all starting to feel like too much. Then,the "released convict" worker program he brought up.First time I have heard him mention that one.

Look,I do feel for illegal immigrants who come here looking for a better life. I also realize convicts leaving prison need to find employment to avoid winding up back behind bars BUT,I have to stop and look at the real motives behind this kind of shit.

The real motive is a cheap labor workforce with no motive or ability to make complaints about employers violating wage and labor laws for fear of being deported or being sent back to the joint.
