So how is everyone tonight? I'm doing OK. I have a weird story to tel you.

About a mile or so from my house is a new bridge that just opened up. Here's the Wiki page for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maumee_River_Crossing I drove on it earlier today; I was creeped out by the experience. I do have a fear of heights, however bridges don't generally bother me unless I'm walking. I swear, I could feel the bridge swaying. :scared:

Anyway, that's my weird story for today. Come by, say hi and tell me how weird I really am. I can take it! :rofl:

I was trapped in stalled traffic once on a bridge on the way to a Grateful Dead show in Hamilton Ontario.

That bridge was swaying a good foot in both directions.

At least I think it was the bridge.

Well, it looks perdy from the side too. I meant to ask you.. have you lived in Ohio long? I was talking to someone about early childhood memories the other day and one of mine came up from Ohio.

I remember enormous flocks of blackbirds flying overhead. Big enough to shade the ground and they took a while to pass.

Enormous flocks of blackbirds? Sounds likely. Perhaps it was fall; when the birds get together to fly south for the winter. I've seen pretty big flocks then. :shrug:

Bridges can be spooky. There's one of those swinging bridges on Grandfather Mountain here in NC. When we visited it was really windy and I
didn't go on it. I'm a chicken.
