...aside from justice and the American way, I also stand for truth. And here it is:

Peggy Noonan looked better than I have ever seen her look. She must have gotten a really good makeover.

And Nancy Pelosi looked about the worst I have ever seen her.

Clearly, the GOP have developed some kind of life-energy-sapping ray gun, that they aimed at Pelosi and then put in reverse onto Noonan before she went on Tweety's show. ;)

Peggy Noonan gets good lighting because she knows how to demand it. Nancy gets the worst because they can do that and it's probably the last thing on her mind. Men don't worry about that when other men get bad lighting so please lighten up on the ladies.

which is a mistake when lighting womens faces anyhow (if you can avoid it).

Also, Noonan was in a studio where they have much more control over the lighting then they most likely had when they set up the cameras in the room the Democrats were giving the rebuttals.

There are subtle nuances I was picking up. She was just a little more exaggerated a little more confident. She was acting like a woman in love.

She has been on his show quite a few times lately. I thought she wouldn't appear on his show ever again after he gave her such a difficult time a few weeks ago, but there she was the following Sunday. It seemed to me like he was mad at her for something and that was why he played hardball. Then they kissed and made up and have gotten along fine since then.

I don't know her status, but Chris is married to a news anchor on a local DC station.

Pelosi is a serious political leader. It is neither appropriate nor fair to compare their appearances. Pelosi wasn't elected to charge your batteries, she was elected to lead.

It is especially appropriate to compare their appearances, because they both were on TV one after another. The last politician who didn't care about his appearance on television was Nixon, when he lost to JFK. Nixon didn't want to wear makeup; there is little doubt this move affected his campaign as profoundly as any policy matters.
