Nunavut was created in... 1994, I think. Basically the CDN govt. renamed a chunk of pretty empty NW territory and made it an Inuit (Eskimo) homeland.

Well...this is for anyone who has ever traveled abroad and stayed in youth hostels. But...every single Canadian has that stupid-ass maple leaf on their backpack and when I ask "why does every single Canuck have that maple leaf leaf on their backpack?"

What a different, better world if he had been the nominee. Gore vs. McCain would've been the first win/win for voters in the country's history. The only thing he is attacking Bush on is spending, and funding programs like Medicare and SS. He wants to eliminate both.
