Many years ago down there in Charleston, South Carolina at The U S Naval Mine Craft Base located at the foot of Calhoun Street on the Ashley River 180 became "The Accidental Streaker."
The base barber shop for the Sailors was located in our barracks. The entrance to the barber shop was directly across the passageway from the head (Bathroom in land lubber speak).
As we sailors were wont to do I prepared for a journey to the head for a shave and shower. With blue flip flops on my feet, towel over my shoulder, ditty bag in hand and otherwise completely naked I set my course for the head.
Upon entering the passageway from our sleeping quarters I encountered a comely young lady and her boy child waiting for the barber shop to open.I was quite taken aback as I had never seen a woman in our barracks.
What to do I think! She has already been treated to a full frontal view, if I turn and flee she will be treated to a full moon. If I go into the head she will be less exposed to my nakedness.
I push against the door to the head, it will not open. I push and shove, the young Lady standing directly behind me. Finally the door gives way and I escape her gaze as I enter the head.
The broom which had been propping the door shut lay on the deck. Leroy, Ski and John are standing there naked like me, grinning from ear to ear. We re-set the trap for the next streaker.
Hee! Hee!
