Cute idiosycracy or sign of mental illness?
My boyfriend broke our vacuum cleaner so I went out yesterday and bought him a nice new one (reg price $299, clearance for $156) and he positively preened over it when I presented it to him.

Is it just cute or a sign of mental illness?

1. Definite sign of a prolonged, undiagnosed raging psychosis.
Have him committed immediately.

2. I'd gladly marry someone who preens over a vacuum
I hate vacuuming. Who cares if he's mentally ill if he uses his illnes to focus on constructive things.

I have a very good friend who is obsessive compulsive. He has learned to channel his illness to his benefit and live with it and use it to empower his life by doing things such as paying his bills for the next month the day after last month's become due...that way he is always a month ahead.

4. My husband does the whole bill pay a month in advance, pay them
until the money's gone, thing going. It used to be irritating, now it's quirkily charming. :hi:

7. It sucks that he broke it so it doesn't suck. But doesn't suck that you
that you now have one that sucks. But it sucks that you had to buy a new one. But it doesn't suck that you got a deal.

8. Well, I've seen OTHER uses for the Vacuum cleaner
but if I go into details we'd get this thread locked because of being considered a sex thread

11. It was shown in the movie "Scary Movie"
pretty gross but funny as hell. Kinda one of those "American Pie" type things.

15. If someone spent $156 on me I would be happy too.
Maybe he doesn't get spontaneous gifts often. Or he wants to get laid.
