Hats off to: Edie Falco
just watched her today on a rerun of Law & Order (public defender Sally Bell, recurring role). apparently she also had recurring roles on homicide: life on the street and oz.

looking at her bio, interesting note:
Edie Falco is the first actress to ever sweep the top three television awards. In 2000, she received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, The Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series, and the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, all in the same year for her performance as "Carmela Soprano" in the hit HBO series "Sopranos, The" (1999).

1. Not true!
Gillian Anderson won the Golden Globe, the SAG and the Emmy in the same year for the Xfiles.

it says she was first in 2000. i guess gillian was pre-2000?

edit:

looks like you're right. she won all three in 1997. wanna post a correction on the imdb website?
