Now that I'm in the 700 club, let me tell you that God speaks to me, and here's what God said:

"Bush is a dickhead".
"So's Cheney".

And I asked, "What about Rove, Perle, Wolfo--". Right there God cut me off and said, "Hey, you would have to be a morAn not to know the whole crew is just a bunch of dickheads. Need I go on?".

And I said, sheepishly, "Just checking...".

This direct access to God can be nerve-wracking!

Mysterious. Eerie. Can be whispy, can be loud, can be gravelly, can be musical.

But strangely, I know it's God, because when I doubt it, I just ask, "Would Oscar have said that?". If yes, then it was God. If no, then it was just another voice in my head trying to get out.
