1. Macaroni and cheese.
Preferably homemade, but in a pinch, Annie's Organic instant will do.

and this is more evidence. When I'm not feeling well what I really want is my momma's homemade mac and cheese. None of that crap out of a box. Real cheese. And milk. Cooked on the stove. Made with pasts shaped like Texas even. (Ok that last part isn't a necessity but it makes really fun mac and cheese.)

16. French Fries
I have several comfort foods. Any of which will do:

French Fries. Several times when I've been really ill (in the hospital ill) I've craved, CRAVED French Fries with great big gobs of Ketsup.

- French Onion Soup with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of onions and cheese on top.

- Potatoes au gratin. With real cream, butter and cheese.

- Homemade Bread and rolls. My family makes the best yeast bread. Lighter than air and cooked til golden. Perfect for stuffing with fresh ham; or mopping up homemade strawberry jelly and butter. :9 We also make what we used to call "pinapple pizzas". Take a small dough ball and stretch it out to make a small pizza crust (about 6 - 7 inches) When that is set, fill with a mixture of crushed pinapple and cornstarch. Bake until golden. :9

- Cornbread. :9 Nothing like cornbread fresh from the oven. For dessert cover with butter and honey or jelly. :9 :9

- Chocolate of ANY kind. I love the euphoria. :D

*Sigh* Since I'm an Atkins devotee now, it's been over a year since I had any of those treats. Oh well. I'm hoping I'll get more sex now that I'm thin. }(
