Seriously though, I had no idea there was such an age difference until one night a few months after we started dating we were watching a movie and chatting and he said "so when I got back from Nam" and you could have knocked me over with a feather ( I was born in 70). We had just never really discussed age. We both had teenagers and are pretty much in the same place in life, except he gets to retire and slack off sooner.

Kleeb,Rev_Acts, Rad Activist, Miss Honeychurch and I had a thread locked. I made a joke about a college guy in front of a bar wearing a kilt-that was fine. Making jokes about the lack of what he was wearing and the windy night was fine. Describing what was underneath that kilt was fine. What wasn't fine? When I made the comment that I felt like a cradle-robber for staring at what appeared to be a Greek god-that was locked, according to the pm.

Originally the comment was deleted but when a few others posted and asked why it was deleted the entire thread was locked. I'm still not sure why that thread-the thread that RagingInMiami and I posted in that same night about hardwood floors should have been locked much sooner than that thread.

I felt like enough of a cradle robber when I was 31 and she was 24. Now that I am 45 and she is gonna be 39 it does not seem like such a big deal. Her husband probably wouldn't like it though, if she is still married.

I had a woman say she felt like she was too old for me. Since she was only one year and two days older than me, I thought that was a very lame excuse. I suppose she was just too nice to say that I was too ugly or too poor for her.
