1. Will you give up mine too, shugah?
Then I won't have to!
Let's see....there's procrastination, and putting things off, and stalling.

Can you handle those?

We can discuss it over a drink while I consider all the things I should be doing!

2. "He has none of the vices I love and
all of the virtues I hate" ~some guy. Franklen or Twain I think, but I can't be sure.

7. Good start. It takes 21 days to set a pattern.
If you can go 21 days without one, it gets much easier. I smoked about 2 packs/day for 16 years. I quit over 3 years ago essentially cold turkey (with nicotine gum for about 5-6 days).

Don't listen to the people who tell you that they quit 20 years ago and they still crave cigarettes every day. I never want one. I waited about 2 years, and then I started smoking cigars again...about 1 every other month. I enjoy them, but feel no need to smoke more than that (and NO need to smoke cigarettes).

If you're ready to quit, you can do it. I failed about 4 times (once a year) before I finally decided to really do it. Once I decided, I was amazed at how easy it really was (the first 3 weeks are a bitch, though). Remember, it only takes a few days to flush your body of the nicotine. It;s the psychological addiction that's the tough part.

I can't tell you how much better I feel. I felt a major difference about 6 weeks after quitting, not the 6 months that some profess.

...one of the best decisions I've ever made.
