2. HAHAHAHA!
I do too anymore. My family is starting to get worried about me cuz I only watch things that are political on TV or I'm on here looking and reading! I'M beginning to wonder about me!! I guess I just want things to change for the better. My husband finished his last night of his job tonight. He is now among the laid-off because of a plant closing. This is the only way I know of to try to change things for us. Also, it's free and I'm not spending money!

4. Love that!! So how do we transfer that passion onto other Americos?
Im so glad you posted this thread and mentioned how you are so interested in politics, which to me is defined as issues that affect all of us*** Thank you.

I wanted to say that I hope that allowing others to feel comfortable enough to talk politics will be an encouragement to get others involved in just talking about issues, be it community or issues that affect us all.

Everyone has their own perspective on how situations should be handled. I come from a family who has no problem talking politix, and I have often wondered how to encourage others to talk. I think this is mucho importante* for Americans to do, and Im so glad you mentioned how you are so interested and involved. One thing I do know is that it is contagious. Thank God for a positive spreading virus***

I think just being interested in peoples opinions has been a factor in promoting good discussion, which in turn initiates further interest in the issues which is inspiring.

I encourage all of us to engage friends and others to talk about their opinions and to listen to them. Everyone has an interesting perspective, because we all arrive at opinions from whence we came.**

6. I was never into politics.
But after Bush stole the votes, I started watching political shows on TV. I never even knew CSpan existed until last year.

7. RO - You sound like me. I was apolitical most of my life and I
am ashamed to admit that I voted for the first time for Clinton. My husband (PolySci Major) "turned" me on to politics. Now, I am MORE political than he.
