6. This is hilarious. Of course I knew it was a scam, and was curious

to see if anyone here had received something similar. Thank you for supplying the response to your e-mail. I was wondering what the catch was. I now see that they are scamming at the rate of at least 40 bucks a head. (not a bad haul for a mass e-mail scam):hi:

8. Oh yes, that's ALWAYS the catch

And they always want you to send funds via Western Union.

And if you fall for the scam and send the fees, there's always more processing fees.

And then more.

Then when you're really fed up with not getting your $20,000,000...

You get another email saying the original emailer was a scammer, and the new emailer (another 'government official') will offer to get your money back...

For a fee.
