My friend is getting drug tested to be hired permanently

He thought that he had another month before being tested. Last Monday, they told him that he'd be tested next Monday (tomarrow). He had smoked some pot a couple days before. He bought some detoxifier, but is completely paranoid.
He got this job , which is paying $3/hour more than his previous job, in which he was almost losing his house. He has almost gotten caught up on bills and will get another $3/hour raise if he is hired permanently. He does not know what he will do if he doesn't pass the test and loses his job. Getting a good paying job in a short period of time is tough and how does one explain getting fired for failing a drug test.
Perhaps, he should have stayed clean the whole probabtionary period knowing that they'd test before he got hired, but it is too late. I think that he has a good chance of passing but I am seriously worried about him.

HE NEEDS A CLEAN SAMPLE OF URINE FROM A FRIEND. DETOX PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK!!! THEY CANNOT REMOVE METABOLITES FROM YOUR BODY.

They can only test for the pregnancy hormone to determine if the sample is male/female. Have him run to the drugstore to buy a 3oz sample sized shampoo bottle, clean it out thoroughly. Then have him get a clean donor, fill it, and keep it down his pants for the test. Holding the bottle up to a car's HVAC vent with the heater on while he drives to the lab will keep it warm. If it is hot to the touch, it means it is above 100 degrees. It should be warm to the touch, this will keep it in the acceptable range. Hopefully he doesn't wear boxers. Briefs are best for this ordeal. And in the future, inform him of such sites as cleartest.com, where one can buy synthetic human urine. He can keep the kit in his car if they do randoms. A little brains and execution will get him the job. Good luck.

I am not sure if it is the really sensitive one or not. I don't know if he was given a week's notice because they know it is a tough one to pass with even a week or they wanted to give him time to prepare.

Often. I think he is down to a pack per day. He hasn't drank alcohol or done anything else in quite a long time.

4. Aren't there over the counter medicines

that test positive for pot? I thought Advil or something can test positive. Did he just take a few hits or more than that? Not that I know about such things, but would that make a difference? :-)

8. alot of things can set them off...

from poppyseed muffins to certian otc drugs, dont know which but i think thier some common ones that do...

If the test is positive...the medical director should be calling the "donor" and asking questions like...have you had any poppyseed muffins? taking any prescription medication (T-3) etc. then they re-test more of the sample.

You know what is ironic...This poor fool may lose a job and Rush Limpballs admitted tot he world that he was illegally seeking drugs and his job was held for him!

He does take lots of vitamins and energy drinks. He is not overweight.
I think that some over-the-counter medicines can cause false positves.

13. Dilution is the solution! Tell your friend to drink a gallon of water

tonight. Then drink another gallon before the test in the morning. After drinking the water, have him take a multi vitamin to color the urine. Good Luck.

of water before the test and the results will likely be inconclusive. It's not the same as passing, but it might buy some time before a retest. Happened to me once.

the morning of the test...drink as much water/coke/lemondade/(insert favorite beverage here) as possible...and

"expel it"

repeat..

with bladder empty, on the way to the testing place...stop at burger king or a gas station and get a giant 50 ounce coke...gulp it down...

then take the test asap...He will be hydrated and the liquid should go straight through...not even stopping to absorb any of the nutrients or other "stuff" that may be his blood stream..

this worked for me once..though it gave be a terrible stomach ache for 24 hrs..
